Objects of Light (OOL) explores Tibetan Book of the Dead, sounds and found objects of urban environment, and stillness within.
Ron Chornow (found objects, percussion, clarinet) is a veteran of ambient/experimental, industrial, alternative and punk bands, such as Animal Vegetable Television, Forms of Things Unknown, Samsara, Color Failure, Dinosaur Lullaby, Lots of Trees, New Assault and Krank. In addition to traditional percussion instruments, Ron likes to create sounds with objects originally intended for other purposes.
Laurie Buenafe (vocals, effects, percussion) has a background in physical theatre and women’s dance traditions of the Silk Road. She contributes vocals to Eurostache, and sings Eastern European music in a community choir.
Irretitus Fesol (vocals, electric violin) is a trained opera and middle eastern vocalist with a background in raptor rehabilitation and observation for the Cascades Raptor Center and the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory. She uses feral animal behavior as a center point for experimental art in movement and sound.
